MY STORY

One evening I was sitting in front of the TV, watching casually, nothing stressful in mind. Suddenly, my Apple Watch started beeping. The notification said, “Your heart rate is going up, please calm down.”

I thought maybe it is some glitch. I ignored it and continued watching TV. After five minutes again it beeped. This time I checked properly—my heart rate had gone above 120. I was shocked because I was just sitting there, not running, not even walking. Again, after some time, third time it buzzed, and now it was showing 142.

That moment I got really scared. My mind started racing. I began taking deep breaths to calm myself down. And then one strong thought hit me: If something happens to me today, what will happen to my mom? Who will take care of her if I don’t take care of myself?

That was my turning point.

Next morning itself I went to the gym and signed up. I didn’t know anything about workouts or nutrition. All I knew was that I had to change. At that time, I was 84 kilos. My lifestyle was completely unhealthy—binge eating, emotional eating, late nights. I had a wrist ligament sprain, tennis elbow, high uric acid, high cholesterol, and on top of that, chronic insomnia. I was popping melatonin tablets and still not able to sleep. Because of this sleeplessness, I used to be in a bad mood most of the time. And honestly, I was embarrassed to look at myself in the mirror or even in photos.

Then in May 2024, I came across a Transformation Challenge. For the first time in my life, I decided to be consistent. I had no coach, no supplements, no gym too as I was having injuries and gout arthritis. But I gave my best. In 84 days, I lost 10 kilos and completely changed my body.

But the real transformation was not just outside—it was inside. During the challenge, I started feeling an urge from within to take this more seriously. The thought of becoming a fitness coach kept coming back again and again. At the same time, I was scared. I remembered how earlier I had picked up a fitness book and could not understand even the basics. Those concepts had gone above my head. So I kept doubting myself: If I could not understand that book, how will I ever study a full diploma course?

every night was a battle….

Every day was a battle inside my mind. But the restlessness kept increasing. Finally, one night, I could not sleep at all. At 2 a.m., I got up, opened my laptop, and without thinking twice, I paid the full amount and enrolled in the Diploma in Nutrition and Fitness Course.

I set one clear goal for myself: before my birthday, I will see myself as a Certified Nutrition and Fitness Coach. And, much before my birthday, I have achieved it.

This journey has taught me one thing—if a voice inside you is constantly pulling you towards something, don’t ignore it. That voice is there for a reason. Listen to it. Take action.

Now, as a coach, I don’t just make diet charts or workout plans. I help people build habits, fix their lifestyle, learn healthy eating, and most importantly, believe in themselves. I know their pain because I have lived it myself. I know the struggles of sleepless nights, emotional eating, joint pains, health issues, and low confidence. That’s why I bring empathy to my coaching—I put myself in my client’s shoes and walk with them in their journey.

Because if I can transform myself, so can YOU.
